Ausan Beach Front Cottages is located in the center of Port Barton surrounded by 1,500 meters of clean and finest white sand beach with crystal water and coconut trees at the northwestern part of Palawan.

Few years ago Ausan Beach Front Cottages, formerly known Ausan’s Cottages, offered four (4) cottages only. Today, due to the demand of our valuable guest, Ausan Beach Front Cottages are offering selected air-conditioned rooms with TV, Beach Front Tree House, U.F.O Cottage, Beach Front Sunset Rooms, and Budget Standard Rooms. Native concreted design Bar and Restaurant is also available offering Western, European, Oriental, Continental, and Filipino foods together with various cocktails and cold beers and juices. FREE Wi-Fi (public areas), 24 hours hot shower on selected cottages and rooms, elected safety deposit box, and beach front cabanas can be found around the resort. There is a 24 hour easy to use online booking system you can use for booking your accommodation, island tour packages, and boat and private van transfer.

PORT BARTON

Port Barton is a protected bay with panoramic view of various islands and islets in the front and mountains covered with virgin forest at the background. Relax at the peaceful place and enjoy all types of water sports activities, jungle trekking to waterfalls, or wild watching at the mangrove river. Port Barton is the jump-off point to the many white sand islands surrounding San Vicente. In the middlemost portion of the beach, there are various beach cottages/resort with rooms and facilities for rent and also restaurants. Some also offer diving courses and internet cafés. Port Barton is the main transport hub of the municipality servicing boats, buses and Jeepneys from Sabang where one of the Nature Wonders of the World – Underground River is located. Puerto Princesa City is situated in the south while El Nido is north of Port Barton.

Other attractions in the area include Pamuayan Falls, a three and half kilometer hike through a dense forest. Along the way you can see different species of plants and animals. Pamuayan Falls drops 15-17 meters into a natural pond surrounded by palm trees where you might chance various species of butterflies and dragonflies. Another waterfalls can be trekked 15 minutes’ walk from the Begaho Beach called Begaho Falls.

Mangrove Rivers are mangrove reserve areas in Port Barton and are accessible by small boat. Monkeys, monitor lizards, mangrove snakes and birds are common sightings in the area.
